Craig will describe the birth and development of the mineral water spa and
later hydropathic facilities which appeared on the Airthrey and Westerton e
states during the 19th century. He will then explain how this, in turn, cre
ated the community of Bridge of Allan which then developed into the town it
became in the 20th century.
