Free Internet access is available at the library and we have 12 public access terminals. A terminal can be booked in advance and each user is entitled to two hours use per day. In addition to the Internet, you can use the library PCs for word processing, e-mailing and accessing our wide range of on-line databases such as Know UK and News UK.
In conjunction with Forth Valley College, the library offers flexi-learning delivered via computer. Taste IT, a course in basic IT literacy is also offered in a four-week programme delivered by library staff.
The Library receives daily newspapers and a monthly Which? subscription, as well as a large amount of public information, which is available or displayed as appropriate. We display current community information in posters and in a community diary, and the library is often lucky enough to host local exhibitions and displays.
The Library has a Gallery Space called the View which is available to hire on a monthly basis; we can facilitate launch evenings in conjunction with any exhibitions.
A local councillor operates a surgery in the Library on the first Tuesday of the month.
Fax, photocopying and printing are available here, and the library also sells stamps, cards and local history and information publications.
Library staff can also access information on other Council services and refer you to the most appropriate person.
At Dunblane Library we aim to welcome everyone to a high quality library service, staffed by well-trained, motivated and friendly people.
