DESCRIPTION:The excellent and entertaining Doune Bassoon Quartet is giving a concert in
  Dunblane Cathedral on Sunday 2nd February. \nThis is a concert with a diff
 erence…\nIf you come to the Cathedral Hall at 2pm, you can ‘Meet the Bassoo
 n’ and discover all its idiosyncrasies in a free, fun, informal demonstrati
 on lasting about 30 mins. \nChildren, and adults, of all ages are most welc
 ome.\nThe main concert is at 3pm in the Cathedral, with the usual interval 
 and refreshments. \nThere’s music for all tastes: the first half considers 
 the historical perspective and the beauty of ‘The bassoon through the centu
 ries’. \nAfter the interval, ‘The bassoon entertains’ throws caution to the
