
At Blaeberry River Art, you can access art classes and buy or commission artworks by artist Fiona McKenzie van Baardwijk. Blaeberry River is all about art for everyone and provides classes for every age and stage. Contact Fiona for enquiries or to book. One to one or small group sessions are also available. Fiona is PVG certified and has a teaching qualification. Classes are held at the Dunblane Centre or Blaeberry River Studio. Should you need art tuition for any reason or at any age, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Fees : Private lesson for one £15/hr adult £10/hr child, please enquire if you wish small or large group rates.
Major Developments are planned for the Queen Victoria School

The work includes the rationalisation and modernisation of Queen Victoria School and grounds, including the provision of a new teaching block, accommodation block and relocation of activities to existing and new build accommodation such as pipes and drums centre, dance hall, new stores building and new dining kitchen building. Also included are the demolition of surplus unlisted buildings and extensive landscaping and other public realm improvement works. There are also to be drainage works to existing burn and repositioning of culvert.

Update Read the Planning Panel Report (see link below). It says..."The application is recommended for approval,... despite the site falling within an "area of significant protection" and not being within an "Area Of Search" as defined by Stirling Council's Supplementary Guidance for Renewable Energy Developments (Wind Turbines)"
An application for 2 large wind turbines close to Dunblane is being recommended for approval by the Council's Planning officers. The site is just off the Auchinlay Road, overlooking Ashfield. The application is to go to the Planning and Regulation Panel on 24th February 2015.

We are running out of copies of Dunblane’s Green Travel Maps
Many thanks to all those who completed our Dunblane Map survey; so many positive comments showed a high demand and wide variety of use and benefits for locals of all ages, visitors and businesses. So funding applications are sent out; to update the maps, print 10,000 Green Travel Maps, renew the online licence, and perhaps develop a business sheet version. See full report here.

This Irish Dance Workshop is held in the Braeport Centre in Dunblane on Fridays from 6.00 to 8.00 and on Sundays from 5.00 to 7.00. The Workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities.
