Holmehill Community Buyout/Holmehill Ltd was formed in 2005 to buy Holmehill for community use, to ensure that the protection afforded to the hill was maintained and to ensure the hill’s sustainable development. http://www.holmehill.org/
Between 2006 and 2018, Holmehill was owned by Allanwater Developments who submitted 6 planning applications to develop the hill with housing or offices. All planning applications were resisted by the community who were supported by the planning authority, Stirlng Council.
In 2018, Holmehill was bought by a local charitable trust, the Carman Family Foundation. Early in 2019, Holmehill Community Buyout/ Holmehill Ltd was wound up - job done! And the Friends of Holmehill was formed. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
