Update from Forth Housing Association dated 29 March : 'Our contractor TD Trees advises us that they will start the tree felling at Bogside, Dunblane on Friday 1^st April 2016. Depending on weather conditions etc they expect the work to take a few days'.

8 Housing Association properties to be built at Bogside 

Work will shortly begin on the empty ground at the corner of Perth Road and Bogside. This will herald the construction of eight new homes by Forth Housing Association, which are being built to provide adapted accommodation for current or former Dunblane residents who have housing needs due to medical or mobility difficulties.  The initial activity, by TD Trees of Dunblane, will involve the removal of a small number of trees, required to accommodate the new homes. This tree work has been approved by Stirling Council and people should note that the tree felling will not involve the wider Holmehill area.  Construction work is expected to start in April and be completed by the end of the year.
