Green Online Consultation

here  The survey comes on the back of last week’s announcement of a Climate Emergency public drop-in event to be held at the Albert Halls on Wednesday, 18 March.

Stirling Council residents and businesses are invited to join the Council and local organisations at the city centre venue for a drop-in session to discuss the climate crisis and the work being done to protect the environment.

Attendees will be able to fill out the survey at the event and anyone not able to attend on the day will be able to access it online here until 31 May.

Vice convener for Environment and Housing, Cllr Danny Gibson, added: “We need to gain a better understanding of how local people view the challenges and opportunities of the Climate Emergency to encourage everyone to take action.

“The Council is beginning that engagement with this survey to gauge the level of support for a range of actions that individuals, the Council and our partners could take. We also want to understand the barriers that prevent people from making changes that would benefit everyone.

“The survey is simple, can be completed quickly, and will be invaluable in shaping our plans to tackle the Climate Emergency in Stirling.”
